Very nice vintage Silver enamel Powder Compact made in Italy. Year : late 1950’s. Excellent condition. Enamel is still vivid and bright; no scratches or chips. The mirror is original and integral. The Powder is marked for 800 silver. The hand painted enamel design a particular Botticelli’s picture : the birth of Venus. The compact measures about 9x8 cms and weighs approx 130 grams. This Powder Compact is a very valuable item for your collection.
