This is an outstanding hand painted antique European silver and enamel compact with lipstick case. Year : late 1950’s . The Compact measures about 3” by 2 ¾”.The lipstick case 2 ¼” x ¾”.The hand painted enamel design, on both pieces, features a romantic countryside scene with a couple and lambs resting at their feet. Hallmarked for 800 silver. The set is in excellent condition. Enamel is vivid and bright : no scratches or chips. A wonderful addition to your collection.
